The mission of Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission- Jammu is to serve the ailing distressed Human Beings on charitable basis to achieve the spirit of the preachings of Swami Vivekananda "Serve Man Serve God" The vision of the SVMMCH is to spread the message of Swami ji "All Embrassing with Universal Outlook" This vision is also achievable by serving the Human Beings by providing them good health care.
The broad Aims and Objective of the mission is to render total health care services to the ailing humanity especially down trodden and less fortunate. Apart from this,SwamiVivekananda Medical Mission is on the path of generating employment opportunities by expanding the Hospital units for providing full medical facilities to the needy patients.
To guide the hospital administration for the future development , Dr Shakti Gupta Professor, Hospital Administration AIIMS New Delhi deputed two experts Dr Vijaydeep Siddhaarth and Dr S.K.Dutt who after the inspection of the hospital prepared Vision Document 2025 which contains the observations and suggestions for the future planning of the hospital in a phased manner and hospital administration has started implementing these suggestions.
