A comprehensive CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) training session was successfully held at the Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Trust (SVMMCH), Ambphalla, Jammu. The program was organized in collaboration with the Post Graduate Department of Anesthesia, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
The training was conducted by a highly skilled team from GMC Jammu consisting of Prof. Anita Vig Kohli, Head of Department, Prof. Renu Wakhloo, and Dr. Hina Saini. Their expertise and hands-on demonstration aimed to empower healthcare personnel with essential life-saving skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Anita Vig Kohli said, “CPR training is not just a medical skill—it is a responsibility. Ensuring that every healthcare worker is well-trained can make the crucial difference between life and death in emergencies.”
All staff members of SVMMCH participated enthusiastically in the program, reflecting the institution’s commitment to strengthening emergency care capacity. Key doctors of SVMMCH present during the training included Dr. Arun Arora (Anesthesia), Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Dr. Uttam Sharma, Dr Rajesh Gandotra , dr sardari lal fotra and Dr. Pankaj Gupta.
The event was honored by the presence of SVMMCH Management Committee members: Sh. Amar Chand Gupta (Senior Vice President), Sh. B.B. Gupta (General Secretary), Sh. Dharamveer Chopra (Member), and Dr. Sachin Gupta (Member). Key administrative officers, including Dr. Arvind Kohli medical director svmmch, Dr. Rabinder Rattan Pal (Medical Superintendent) and Iqbal Deep Singh (Hospital Manager), were also present.
